Bio

Susan Hanlon Ferrer has a passion for helping others to cultivate their talents and dreams. As a private vocal coach and teacher, she maintains a full studio in North Dallas.   

In January of 2019, Susan released Louder Every Minute on Armored Records. This album features world class musicians who help bring her original material and arrangements to life. Her fans have described her music as a mix of Norah Jones and Michael Buble with a dash of Jamiriquoi. 

Susan earned her M.A in Voice at The University of North Texas. Her graduate studies centered around vocal pedagogy and commercial vocal techniques. She is currently the Adjunct Professor of Commercial Voice at Collin College and frequently works as an adjudicator and clinician in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.   

Susan is the Dallas Teaching Associate for Tom Mckinney (vocal coach to Beyonce, Solange, Scott Hoying and many more). She is a current member of ASCAP, TMEA and The National Association of Teachers of Singing. 

As a vocal teacher, Susan primarily focuses on building a solid foundation and maintaining vocal health in various musical styles. Her clients work on pop, jazz, country, folk, singer/songwriter, rock, contemporary christian and musical theater styles in addition to choral music and classical repertoire.  Susan is available for private lessons as well as in-studio coaching during recording sessions. In addition to technical training, Susan assists clients with Artist Development Strategies.
